I have an electric water heater. The setup was difficult! overall i enjoy the product. Does what it says!

I run an Airbnb business and often times there is no one at the property for multiple days. This is the perfect device for me because i basically just shut off my water heater when no one is there and restart it when i have guests at the house. genius! it was a no brainer for my case, i ended up installing 1 in each house.

if you are wondering wether or not it's worth the purchase then i can confirm this product is fricking awesome! i recommend getting the water leak cable with it!! I have an electric water heater and i installed the sensor about 4 months ago.. i started noticing not only are my bills lower but also you can just switch off your water heater from your phone.. that's amazing why did we not think of this sooner? this is a no brainer

I bought 6 of these for our retirement facility to keep track of our water heaters in each building. so far no complaints. cool technology and overall app is easy to use! so far data has been accurate, i've had these installed for about 2 months. I also got the water leak cables for leaks, so far no leaks thought! will post an update if we get a leak to share what happened.

I use it for a 40-gallon water heater. It cut my gas usage by at least 20% in the winter. In some months I've seen as much as a 30% reduction from average which is a lot. Installation might seem daunting but it was very easy. I had mine set up and running in about half an hour. I have the full suite but this sensor in particular i thought was really cool!

Bought the PowerX water heater sensor for an electric water heater back at the end of September... finally received it after a long wait. Before installation, my bill in September was $360. After installation and use within a month, my October bill was $217. I’m very pleased with these results so far! I also ended up getting the other 2 sensors. so far it's a very decent product and worth the money.

I use this on an electric hot water heater I have at a second home. The WiFi connection is reliable and allows me to only heat the water when I'm up there. When I'm away, it stays at around 55-60 degrees. I usually turn it on about 5 hours before I arrive. When I get there the water is nice and hot. The PowerX sensor is a smart device, so it can sense more water usage and heats up when my whole family comes to stay.
